Privacy Policy

FilamentFlow Hub is a web app for tracking 3D printing workflows, including filament inventory, products, print jobs, costs, exports, and reports.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is stored, and what choices you have when using FilamentFlow Hub.

1. Who we are

FilamentFlow Hub is operated by the person or entity responsible for providing the service.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate FilamentFlow Hub and provide the app’s features.

Account information

When you create an account, we may collect and store:

  • your email address
  • your display name, if provided
  • authentication metadata, such as account creation time and last sign-in time
  • authentication provider information, such as whether you signed in with email/password or Google

Google sign-in data

If you choose to sign in with Google, FilamentFlow Hub may receive basic Google account information, such as:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your profile picture, if available
  • your Google account identifier

We use this information only to create, identify, and authenticate your FilamentFlow Hub account.

FilamentFlow Hub does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, or any other Google service. We only use the basic profile information needed for sign-in.

Workspace and app data

When you use FilamentFlow Hub, you may enter and manage information related to your 3D printing workflow, including:

  • filament inventory
  • material type, color, brand, supplier, location, stock levels, and notes
  • products and production cost estimates
  • print jobs
  • stock movements
  • reports and analytics
  • workspace settings
  • CSV imports and exports
  • feedback reports or bug reports submitted through the app

This information belongs to you. We store and process it so the app can provide its features.

Technical information

We may collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service, such as:

  • browser and device information
  • page path or app screen where an error or feedback report was submitted
  • timestamps
  • authentication/session information
  • basic diagnostic information

We do not use this information for third-party advertising.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • create and manage your account
  • allow you to sign in securely
  • provide the app’s features
  • store and display your workspace data
  • calculate and display inventory, cost, print job, and report information
  • provide CSV exports and workspace backup exports
  • respond to support requests and feedback
  • improve the product during beta
  • protect the service from abuse or unauthorized access
  • comply with legal obligations when applicable

4. Legal basis for processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area or another region with similar data protection laws, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract necessity: to provide FilamentFlow Hub and its core features to you.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, debug, and improve the service.
  • Consent: where we ask for your consent, such as for optional features or certain third-party sign-in flows.
  • Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.

5. Data export and portability

FilamentFlow Hub is designed with data portability in mind.

You can export parts of your workspace data, such as filament inventory, print jobs, products, and related records, using the export tools available in the app.

We recommend keeping your own periodic exports of data that is important to your business or workflow.

6. Cookies and authentication storage

We use cookies and similar browser storage only when needed for:

  • authentication
  • keeping you signed in
  • session management
  • basic app preferences

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site advertising tracking cookies.

7. Feedback submitted through the app

FilamentFlow Hub includes an in-app feedback option. If you submit feedback, bug reports, or feature requests, we may store:

  • the message you send
  • your account identifier or email
  • related workspace information
  • the app page or path where the feedback was submitted
  • technical information such as browser/user-agent details

We use feedback to fix bugs, improve features, and understand how the app is used.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in feedback messages.

8. Third-party services

To operate FilamentFlow Hub, we use third-party service providers. These may include:

  • Supabase for authentication, database, and related backend services
  • Cloudflare for hosting, DNS, security, and edge infrastructure
  • Google for Google sign-in
  • GitHub Actions and Cloudflare R2 for database backup infrastructure

These providers process information only as needed to provide infrastructure, authentication, hosting, backup, security, or operational services.

We do not sell your personal information.

9. Data storage and security

Your account and workspace data are stored using managed cloud infrastructure protected by access controls and encrypted HTTPS connections.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

FilamentFlow Hub is currently available as a working beta, so we recommend keeping your own export of any critical inventory, production, or business data.

10. Data retention

We keep your account and workspace data for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide the service.

If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data where reasonably possible, unless we need to retain certain information for legitimate operational, security, backup, or legal reasons.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period before they are overwritten or deleted according to our backup retention practices.

11. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

  • access your personal data
  • correct inaccurate information
  • request deletion of your data
  • request restriction of processing
  • object to certain processing
  • request data portability
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

12. Children

FilamentFlow Hub is not intended for children. You should not use the service if you are not legally allowed to create an online account in your country or region.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as FilamentFlow Hub evolves.

When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users inside the app.

Continued use of FilamentFlow Hub after changes take effect means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
